Bio: I am the founder of KAT Nurseries. I grew up on a nursery, a family nursery that was sold when I was about 9. Ever since then it was my dream to re-build the family business. I started planting my nursery in 1997 while in college where I studied Business and Horticulture. I’m a nurseryman now, I guess, after all I’ve done it all: planting, pruning, hoeing, spraying, and digging, which led to hiring, buying, selling, managing, driving, borrowing, and firing. It’s been a long bumpy ride, and I’ve learned a lot. I’m proud of what we’ve built. I’m proud to be associated with my co-workers, venders, and customers. I love coming to work everyday and I hope I’ll always be that way.
